Cookie Policy
Last updated: November 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Altech Web Design Inc (“we”) uses cookies and similar technologies on our website and services. It is part of our Privacy Policy and our Terms and Conditions of Use.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser or device. Together with similar technologies (local storage, pixel tags and web beacons) they let us remember your preferences, keep you signed in, measure site usage and show relevant advertising.
2. Types of cookies we may use
- Strictly necessary: enable the basic operation of the site, security and features such as remembering your language. They cannot be switched off in our systems.
- Preference: remember your choices, for example the language (English or Spanish) you select.
- Analytics and performance: help us understand how the site is used (page views, traffic source, errors) so we can improve it. For example, we may read the Google Analytics identifier to associate a record with your visit.
- Advertising and marketing: used by us or our partners to measure campaigns and show relevant ads on other sites.
3. Third-party cookies
Some external providers may set cookies when you interact with our site or with links to our sign-up and checkout platform (for example, analytics, advertising, payment or sign-in tools). These cookies are governed by those third parties’ policies. We do not control cookies placed on our Customers’ sites or on linked third-party services.
4. How to manage your preferences
- You can accept, reject or delete cookies in your browser settings. See your browser’s “help” section; more information at www.allaboutcookies.org.
- You can opt out of personalized advertising on the Network Advertising Initiative and Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out pages, and in your mobile device’s advertising settings.
- If you disable cookies, some features of the site may not work properly.
5. Do Not Track signals
We currently do not respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals, as there is not yet a uniform standard.
6. California and other jurisdictions
If you live in California or another state with applicable privacy laws, you may have the right to limit certain uses of your information, including personalized advertising that may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of data. You can exercise these choices by blocking cookies in your browser or by writing to privacy@altechwebdesign.com.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy at any time. The version in force is the one published on this page, with its update date.
